I was using emacs-mac because it has precise text selection when using a mouse. But I like just about everything more building with emacs-plus, seems much more stable being closer to source. So I am using emacs-plus now but when selecting text with a mouse, it is quite imprecise. It will show you have characters selected while clicking down and when you release the click it will often add one character more to the selection. Is there any setting to fix this or is it more low level that a build has to fix it like emacs-mac did? Thanks!

Not answering your question but still related. I switched back to emacs-mac from emacs-plus for two apps that don’t work in the latter:
1. Magnet.app to resize windows using keybindings
2. Tip.app, mark region in Emacs, press shortcut and get context-aware menu depending on content

I see. I use Rectangle which is the open source alternative. There are little improvements the make emacs-mac better but it’s noticeably worse in others like when resizing the frame the rendering is laggy and I’m on an M1 Pro. Decisions decisions. Overall liking plus more at the moment.
