Multiple cursor mode problem

I have installed multiple cursors and have these bindings: `; Multiple cursors` `(global-set-key (kbd "C-S-c C-S-c") 'mc/edit-lines)` `(global-set-key (kbd "C->") 'mc/mark-next-like-this)` `(global-set-key (kbd "C-<") 'mc/mark-previous-like-this)` `(global-set-key (kbd "M-<f3>") 'mc/mark-all-like-this)` `(global-set-key (kbd "C-z") 'mc/edit-beginnings-of-lines)` If I select a word and use `mc/mark-next-like-this,` then all instances are selected and multiple cursors appear. I can delete multiple instances like this, but when I try to type new text, only one cursor flashes and the typed text appears only at the first cursor. What am I doing wrong?

You probably have some other mode enabled that does something fancy with self-insert commands, breaking multiple-cursors. lispy always does that to me. C-h k KEY with the key that did not work and you'll find the culprit.

>and use > >mc/mark-next-like-this Your clue helped me find the culprit: org-self-insert-command. This must be removed from the file .mc-lists.el in .emacs.d.
