There is a variable to tweak the selection of words in Emacs, making it render larger chunks when using \~forward-word\~, as the "W" in Vim (versus the "w"). I have forgotten the name of that variable. Any help would be appreciated.

\`global-superword-mode\`, you can customize the variable or call a function with the same name to change the value.
