That's pretty cool, thx. I would maybe label it as a minimal starter config, which is a good thing.

Setting gc threshold that high is a bad idea. You should use a startup-hook to lower it back to the default value or something in that range. Also prefer-coding-system will set most of those other variables as well. Something like: (setq-default default-enable-multibyte-characters t) (prefer-coding-system 'utf-8) (set-language-environment "UTF-8") Should be enough. Otherwise, neat 😊

Thx, for your excellent suggestions. I have a hook function located at the end of the earli-init.el file to reset the garbage collector after full init, i comment it because i'm making a lot of changes and i don't want gc to hold me down, bescause i realise that when i enable it its gonna stuck after amount of time so i have to force close emacs to reset the gc. For (setq-default default-enable-multibyte-characters t) as one line to UTF-8 encoding I've marked it as readable, but I'll comment your contribution in the log. very-useful

Havent checked the config, but judging from screenshot I think you should turn off line numbers for treemacs.

Thx for your `NOTE` I leave it like that because it take the indentation spaces between treemacs.el and the border well, considering that I'm using compositor so all the pixels have opacity 92%. :)
