Spacemacs, doom and vanilla Emacs visual

if I visually like one of the emacs configurations (spacemacs, doom emacs, etc.) and install plugins that make it that way, will it look exactly the same in vanilla emacs, or will it still look a little old-fashioned?

roughly speaking: doom visual = doom-theme + doom-modeline + vanilla emacs

as I understand it, the same can be said about other configurations (spacemacs,prelude) ?

yes, they are just a bunch of configs.

thanks, I just thought if I switch to vanilla emacs , then everything will look worse visually than in configurations, even if I install plugins of these very configurations, and in the end it turned out that everything will look exactly the same.

At least for doom, it is pretty straighforward to configure standalone.

Bear in mind that, although the visuals of those emacs distributions are attractive, there’s also the performance side. Doom emacs (the only one I can speak of as is the one I use) is incredibly fast. I think it’ll be hard (for me at least) to mimic the performance, although the visuals seem easily attainable. Cheers

What performance is their to measure emacs with? Is this referring to how well it can perform elisp functions or something? Genuinely ask, Im just a noob thats only used gnu emacs

heard about this side of doom emacs, which of course is not default in vanilla emacs, well, I think if you dig into doom emacs you can understand why it is so well optimized, then you can recreate it in vannila emacs

but the most important thing for me today is that I finally found out that vanilla emacs can look exactly the same visually as its configurations, and plus I made sure that it can be just as cool not only visually, but also in terms of optimization
