Now that Artur has archived https://github.com/Malabarba/paradox, I wonder if anyone has suggestions for alternatives. I'm especially interested in a way to show changes in a package since the last update. Paradox allowed this via querys to Github repos. It didn't always work but was helpful when it did!
Note that this is specific to package.el -- I'm not asking about alternative package managers like straight. Thank you!

FYI From Emacs 29 `package-update-all` is going to be a built-in command.

Thanks -- though that only covers the actual upgrading (which isn't the problem), not listing what changes have been made to the package since the last update (which was my original question).

I don't know a package who does that OOTB, but if you use `package-vc` to install packages, I don't think it's too hard to write a command to navigate to the repo, fetch, show git diff, then ask to proceed with the updating process.
Maybe someone will share their snippet in the not so far future.
Edit: but of course that will just go to the latest development revision instead of a tagged release.

Paradox did this OOTB (at least so long as there was a git repo it could find), which was one of things I liked most about it. You can do this with straight too, though the flow is a bit clunky, and I'm moving away from straight in any case. But perhaps this is something I'm just going to have to write for myself!

If it about discovering packages, showing their relations and so on epkg might help.
The intended use is to replace the package.el package browser usually in combination with borg however it also just fine without.
