Falcomomo · 2022-12-15 15:38

myhomeswarty · 2022-12-15 15:49
Wow! awesome! How did you do that?
Pro-sketch · 2022-12-15 16:04
Njce! But why would you do that.
Miss_Mizzy · 2022-12-15 16:09
for those asking how its done, i just used emacs-application-framework and launched [vscode.dev](https://vscode.dev) inside of it, you can probably get a similar result with the webkit engine

FreeAd7233 · 2022-12-15 18:08
LOL Yes you can use emacs' builtin xwidget to do the same thing.
Or alternatively, run emacs in the vscode terminal, and then run vim in emacs's terminal...
Misicks0349 · 2022-12-15 18:18
Finally! emacs has a decent text editor!!
GidiomGates · 2022-12-15 18:28

army007 · 2022-12-15 18:31
Yeah, that's what emacs is for (pun intended 😉), to open vscode and be done with it. 😀

Sometimes it's good to stop for a minute and ask yourself why, JUST WHY.

ted-tanner · 2022-12-15 22:47
Now maybe we should rewrite Emacs' Lisp interpreter in Python. That way, we would have interpreted Python interpreting Elisp running the V8 engine to run interpreted JavaScript! What could go wrong?!
Make it PyPy and then it would be Python interpreting Python interpreting Elisp running a JavaScript interpreter.
