Hey folks! I've been trying again to make it so I can do all my python stuff in Emacs, and I've installed elpy and everything and made a virtualenv, but I have no idea how to install packages to it. Is there a way for me to do this from within Emacs, or would I have to do it through the command line? I'm currently on Windows 10, if that helps.

Can you give an example of a package you want to install?

You should be able to do it with pip in eshell

I often use virtualenv from my org-mode buffers thanks to the `pyvenv` package.
Some time ago, I wrote this small example on how to plot a Lorenz attractor with Python and Scipy/Matplotlib on Emacs. You can totally ignore the math part and [look at the construction of the venv only](https://github.com/gicrisf/org-lorenz-attractor#python-environment). Of course, it works the same outside org-mode

I realized that like thirty minutes after I posted this. I thought I couldn't use the shell in Windows from Emacs, but I guess I was wrong.

I don’t think you can use the other shell modes, but eshell has some stuff built in to make it behave pretty similar across platforms.
