I use Bookmarks+, a superb package. But for some reason the status message face when I want to delete a bookmark is night unreadable, and although I can customize all the faces that appear in my actual bookmark list, I cannot figure out how to change that one. So, in principle, how do I find out what face is causing the ugliness when it's in my status bar (so I can't do the usual inspecting)? The image of the style I need to change is at https://images.toryanderson.com/bookmark-delete-face.png. How do I locate the face so I can change it?

The face seems to be [`bmkp-*-mark`](https://github.com/emacsmirror/bookmark-plus/blob/5cf936414bf3bd4ffd9f927f9f84fc6685a30971/bookmark%2B-bmu.el#L2191-L2195)
To find the face I searched through the Bookmark+ package for ["DELETE THIS bookmark"](https://github.com/search?q=%22DELETE+THIS+bookmark%22+repo%3Aemacsmirror%2Fbookmark-plus&type=Code) then looked to see what faces were used with it. In this case the face was set by let-binding `minibuffer-prompt-properties`.
It's worth noting this face is also used elsewhere, so if you want to customize the face as used here without customizing it in other places, it may be more difficult than just modifying the face. You may need to fork the package and add a new face to use or write an advice function around `bookmark-bmenu-execute-deletions` that modifies the face temporarily while the function runs.

Thanks! It's actually horribly unreadable, so hopefully changing it everywhere is ok (depending on whether other things inherit from it).
I also really appreciate you explaining how you found it. Reading code will have to go up in my trouble-shooting process.
