[Fun, old] snow and fireplace

Just a reminder: Last years I enjoyed [Let it snow](https://github.com/alphapapa/snow.el) and [a cozy fireplace](https://github.com/johanvts/emacs-fireplace) during this time of year. They haven't got any updates lately, but they are still fun, especially with native comp enabled. You can get them through MELPA.

Didn't know about the fireplace package. thanks for sharing.

Thx!

These are so cool! I just showed the (non-programming) spouse and they thought they were incredibly cozy and perfect for the season. Need to make these mainstays of my setup…

Hm, it's that time again. Maybe I can come up with some updates for snow.el. Thanks for reminding me.

Yeah that would be nice. I enjoyed flying Santa Claus in one of the earlier versions and haven't yet seen him in the current version.

Hm, was that ever a thing? I remember it being suggested...
