An entire video to tell you the name of two functions, huh?
tonyaldon · 2022-12-06 07:28
I don't understand your comment. What do you mean?
ieure · 2022-12-06 17:37
You've taken a one paragraph exposition about two built-in functions which could be read and understood in perhaps thirty seconds, and spun it into an eleven minute video. It's a wildly inefficient way to convey information, and I don't think much of it at all.

Thank you u/ieure for engaging with me in a conversation that will definitively help me produce better videos in the future.
I've only made 50 videos so far and I still have a lot to learn to make them valuable for different type of viewers with different levels of understanding and different expectations.
I can't wait to see what the next 50 videos are like.
If you know how to make short videos to explain as you said "two built-in functions which could be read and understood in perhaps thirty seconds", I'll be glad to schedule a private call with you in which you can teach me how to do this. This can be beneficial for me (for sure) but also maybe for other Emacs users who watch the videos. I will pay you.
If you are not done with the content I publish on Emacs and Emacs Lisp, you might prefer to try :
* this article [Did you know that org-mode's source code contains more than 5000 examples?](https://www.reddit.com/r/emacs/comments/tblodh/did_you_know_that_orgmodes_source_code_contains/) that is more elaborated (not just built-in functions) than the video or,
* this "short" video [Use the result of a Python source-block in a table formula | org-table | Inside Emacs #6 (part 14)](https://youtu.be/ay7zslbSFqg) that touches really interesting features of org-mode or,
* this video [Add an advice to the command query-replace-regexp](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaQ0C93m0Ck) where we make the elements of the completion list of the command `query-replace-regexp` unique working in a TDD style.
Have a nice day ;)
