Or any recommended workflow to use git for this purpose?

I guess this one only provides creation and modification indicators; I need a full record of the node

It has a setting to record all modification times.

Just to know better your "problem" : why do you want to do that ?

I use [git-auto-commit-mode](https://github.com/ryuslash/git-auto-commit-mode). Just install the package and then enable it whenever you visit a file in Org-Roam:
`(add-hook 'org-roam-find-file-hook #'git-auto-commit-mode)`
Then just initialize your notes directory as a git repository, and every time you save a file it'll create a new commit. For more details, look at the documentation of that package. You can also configure it to automatically push to a remote repository (`gac-automatically-push`) or prompt for a commit message (`gac-ask-for-summary-p`).

I just want to have a full record of some nodes, and I think I can not classify them as journals

Thank you very much, this is exactly what I was looking for.
