Which of the files in the "straight" directory should be under version control?

I am having my first stab at a straight `.emacs.d` configuration. Which of the files in the `straight` subdirectory need to be under verison control? I am sure the contents of the `repos` subdirectories don't need to be under version control, unless I modify some of them, and likewise those in the bind-key, straight and use-package directories. Are there some changes I may need to make, or other packages or updating code can create that I should look out for? straight/build-cache.el straight/build/bind-key/bind-key-autoloads.el straight/build/bind-key/bind-key.el straight/build/straight/straight-autoloads.el straight/build/straight/straight-ert-print-hack.el straight/build/straight/straight-x.el straight/build/straight/straight.el straight/build/use-package/dir straight/build/use-package/use-package-autoloads.el straight/build/use-package/use-package-bind-key.el straight/build/use-package/use-package-core.el straight/build/use-package/use-package-delight.el straight/build/use-package/use-package-diminish.el straight/build/use-package/use-package-ensure.el straight/build/use-package/use-package-jump.el straight/build/use-package/use-package-lint.el straight/build/use-package/use-package.el straight/build/use-package/use-package.info straight/build/use-package/use-package.texi straight/repos/el-get/ straight/repos/emacsmirror-mirror/ straight/repos/gnu-elpa-mirror/ straight/repos/melpa/ straight/repos/nongnu-elpa/ straight/repos/straight.el/ straight/repos/use-package/

None of them!

From this list, agreed. In a more general case, `straight/versions/` should be version controlled if it exists.

lockfiles if you use them and your init file. Same will apply to [Elpaca](https://github.com/progfolio/elpaca).

I recently used straight-freeze-versions, which produced one file straight/versions/default.el that contains all the current versions that I am using. I moved that file to a version-controlled directory and replaced it with a link. That way if I have to reinstall, I can get straight to install these packages with the exact same version. Afaik that's the only info that you could place under VC other than the list of packages in your .emacs init file.

`straight-freeze-versions` is the function that creates the lockfiles, which I take to be a file that contains the commit hash of the packages installed?

I use straight.el and I only have my bootstrapped init.el, settings.org and my snippets directory under version control.
