folding mode (folding.el) doesn't always use folding

Hello Emac wizards I've sucessfully installed folding.el. The only problem now is, that I can't make it to always use folding when opening a new buffer, as described here: [folding.el](https://github.com/jaalto/project-emacs--folding-mode/blob/master/folding.el#L84) Here is what's in my init.el looks like: (if (require 'folding nil 'noerror) (folding-mode-add-find-file-hook) (message "Library `folding' not found")) (folding-add-to-marks-list 'yaml-mode "# {{{ " "# }}}" nil t) Here I found aditional information: [EmacsWiki](https://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/FoldingMode) What could be the problem?

what does folding mode give you over hs-mode?

Thank you JohnDoe, good question. If my goal is achievable with build in hs-mode I will use this one! What I found so far is [Link](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/2936111/emacs-hide-show-support-for-c-triple-slash-doxygen-markup) What I need are triple hyphen folding blocks like so: (folding-add-to-marks-list 'yaml-mode "# {{{ " "# }}}" nil t)

folding mode is pretty cool for large documents. Folds are clickable with the mouse. And you can zoom in and out of folds ...
