all-the-icons-install-fonts not working

Edit: Fixed it by changing the permissions of the fonts dir from drwxr-xr-x to drwxr-xrwx Ran `M-x all-the-icons-install-fonts` and got this output [Opening output file: Permission denied, \/home\/josh\/.local\/share\/fonts\/material-design-icons.ttf](https://preview.redd.it/upm26opcvb1a1.png?width=778&format=png&auto=webp&s=ddf20539ae3a1941bb74b5cd4d7b2e5e307e80d4)

What is in this place? ls -la /home/josh/.local/share/fonts

short version: emacs (or a helper/child process) wants to write that file, but the OS does not allow it. So it is very likely a permission problem, maybe a dir is missing etc...

In my .locale/share/fonts/ is [this](https://imgur.com/a/NPWDe88)

you cant start it as sudo/root and all the dirs are there ([Image of folder](https://imgur.com/a/NPWDe88))

please do ls -al to see the permissions and never start emacs as root/sudo

Fixed it by changing permissions of the fonts folder thx
