I am having a problem with setting up company for auto-completion. I am using doom emacs and have done very little customizations. Here are my configs:
config.el:
(use-package company :ensure t :init)
init.el:
:completion (company +auto)
I have done some research and so far, nothing is consistent. I am probably missing something small, but I can't figure it out. Thanks in advance!

What is a config.el?

Part of the default 3 files used to configure doom emacs(as far as my understanding goes).

1. doom already provides pretty descent \`company\` config, if you want to stick with the default 1, you do not need to write anything on \`config.el\`, just uncomment your favourite options in \`init.el\` : helm, ivy, ido, vertico and their corresponding tags, please follow [here](https://docs.doomemacs.org/latest/#/modules/completion). Though nowadays \`vertico\` is pretty popular, I have not used it yet. Other 3 are descent. helm, and ivy are somewhat complementary, most of the packages use either of the two.
2. if you really want to go nuts, you can override and use your own for different modes (e.g., org-mode, markdown-mode, tex-mode, prog-mode, and even also programming language specific modes, or lsp-mode). there are some great examples are available online. If you want to do anything specific, please give more details.
Please check, I do not find \`+auto\` tag in the available options.

Yeah, I might've made a mistake in configuring emacs. Just reinstalled doom and enabled languages at the bottom of `init.el` and now it is working!
