Ivy

I opened a buffer to `/tmp/abc` and want to save a copy as `/tmp/ab` but don't see any way to have `save-file` accept a string that is a substring of a file. ​ Is there a way to do it?

`C-M-j` (`ivy-immediate-done`) accepts whatever is currently in the top line.

You can `(setq ivy-use-selectable-prompt t)`, after which the prompt can be selected. So you would type "ab" and hit `C-p` to select the exact thing you typed and finally `RET`.
