Spacemacs layouts feature in base emacs?

Self-Built · 2022-11-14 16:20
I have been looking for a solution to my full migration from tmux + vim to emacs. Because I write most of my code in Common Lisp now, it makes sense. I use vanilla emacs with a few custom plugins and themes. I saw spacemacs has a "layouts" feature that MAY be the solution to not using tmux. How can I install layouts in emacs? I cannot seem to find an individual mode for it? Or is it custom to space?

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for, but take a look at this: https://github.com/alphapapa/burly.el

I suppose I'll add one more option to the others (which are all good and worth trying)... https://github.com/mclear-tools/tabspaces It mostly leverages the built-in tab-bar and project.el functionality.
