Eglot hangs for multiple seconds on completions

I've tried a few times to move away from lsp-mode to eglot but every time I get stopped dead in my tracks by a multi second hang on almost any input with a \`error in process filter: flymake-error: \[Flymake\] Unexpected report from disabled backend eglot-flymake-backend\` how do i solve this?

You could try this: `(add-hook 'eglot-managed-mode-hook (lambda () (remove-hook 'flymake-diagnostic-functions 'eglot-flymake-backend)))` I dunno if that'll help. I'm trying to use `eglot-flycheck-adaptor` but I might disable both; I don't find them particularly useful, and in the worst case, they're just outright incorrect.

If you just want eglot to not integrate with flymake at all, this might do the trick: (with-eval-after-load "eglot" (add-to-list 'eglot-stay-out-of 'flymake))
