How to set resolution on Doom emacs for X11 forwarding?

Hello, I'm attempting to run emacs remotely through SSH X11 Forwarding but after installing Doom emacs it broken the resolution: https://imgur.com/8p4rTzI Running emacs without any additional configuration loads it up on a GTK interface which is resizable and the resolution is fine. How would i go about correcting this in Doom?

That looks like a font problem. Does your x server have the fonts?

I think most of the font rendering is done on the X11 client side these days so that could be the source of the issue. Maybe Doom Emacs did set up to complicated fonts to be rendered by the ancient default, when rendering server side most programs really fallback to the most ancient methods.

The fix i provided bellow fixes the the fonts problem but the icons turn into github logos. I tried installing the fonts used by emacs but it broke the fonts again while recovering the icons. Is there a place i can find the doom list of fonts

\^ This, copied the .local/shared/fonts into local xserver and that fixed it.
