Esotheric Keyboard Layout

I am using an esotheric keyboard layout, and wanted to get into emacs, are there any straight forward ways to remap the whole keyboard back to normal ? I've read something related to locals but it didn't work well and i haven't found support for the esotheric layouts (if it exists). Thx in advance

Emacs is not designed for any keyboard layout. It is not like vim which is designed for QWERTY. Emacs is intended to be used with pneumonic bindings, that way it’s easy to remember and not specific to any one keyboard layout. Whatever your layout it, it should be fine.
