Melpa can't find Helm?

GothRoger · 2022-11-09 04:43
I've been experimenting with init.el for a couple, three weeks now. The Melpa repository keeps sending me an error, package not found, whenever I include (use-package helm). Actually, it does that with Ivy, too, and several other packages, but it does install a theme and org. I don't know how to get past this step. Any suggestions welcome.

Have you called `package-refresh-contents` first?

Ensure melpa is in `package-archives`. ``` (setq package-archives '(("melpa" . "https://melpa.org/packages/") ("gnu" . "https://elpa.gnu.org/packages/") ("nongnu" . "https://elpa.nongnu.org/nongnu/"))) ```
