How to mark region and make lists in orgmode?

I often use org-capture from browser. When I do, i lose a lot of formatting which I am okay with most of the time, but when I need lists like the one below, it is very tedious to manually make one. How to mark the region and make them into a list separated by newlines. 1. Put point at the beginning of the first line. 2. Hit `C-SPC` to place the mark. 3. Move point to the beginning of the last line. 4. Type `C-x r t` to enter rect insert mode. Type `- `.

Or `C-c -`, which lets you cycle between the different list types.

Yep, that's a good org mode-specific solution!
