Yes, by either advising `overlay-put` (overkill IMO), or by copy-pasting a modified version of `widget-specify-button` from `wid-edit.el` in your init file that replaces `(overlay-put overlay 'pointer 'hand)` with what ever you please.
I recommend the latter approach.
