Relatively new to emacs. I'm looking to use emacs speaks statistics and take advantage of using polymode and quarto mode ([https://github.com/quarto-dev/quarto-emacs](https://github.com/quarto-dev/quarto-emacs)) which best I can tell is a version of polymode that allows using quarto based documents.
So far I can build the quarto document and output a html window, but if I try to run individual chunks or pieces of code it doesn't work. The github page states it uses ESS by default but when I try to use the ESS run commands I get Wrong type argument: window-live-p, nil. I've googled this error message but haven't seen anything similar so far.
I've also tried having polymode itself enabled with quarto mode and on its own, and using the polymode run chunks command but I get a similar error message.
Anyone have any ideas or potential solutions?
