mpv-start: Failed to connect to mpv

mpv configuration that i have. (use-package mpv) mpv is installed on the system and play videos from command line ``` vanangamudi@karunthulai:~ $ mpv "~/dwhelper/Can't understand the language, but still made me smile! AV: 00:05:45 / 00:29:09 (19%) A-V: 0.000 ``` when I invoke mpv-play and provide the same file path, i get the following error. ``` mpv-start: Failed to connect to mpv ```

What if you replace all of the spaces with, say, underscores and try again. Or use another file without the spaces in yhe path? What if you expand yourself the home path, e. g. use '/home/user/dwhelper'? ( I don't use it, so I am not sure)

tried all that, doesn't look like a path issue.

Emacs sometimes doesn't have the same PATH as your shell (it depends on various things, and, for ex., I start the systemd unit for Emacs myself after I export the right path)
