lsp + company + yasnippet: javascript placeholders for function args?

I've search for this issue but couldn't find anything that solved it. Sorry if I missed something. I have all of the above installed --- and working. With Golang, the functions autocomplete with the parenthesis and placeholders for the args, as expected. So the plumbing works. But, when working with Javascript (with ts-ls), the functions and methods autocomplete without parenthesis or placeholders. So, for exemple, "document.querySel" autcompletes to "document.querySelector" -- NOT "document.querySelector(selectors)" or something like that. Again: yasnippet is installed and working and the entire thing works in other languages. Does anyone know why it doesn't work with Javascript? Thanks!

This is a language server bug that they are refusing to fix. See: https://github.com/emacs-lsp/lsp-mode/issues/3498 . We will patch it on the client side.
