Hey all! This post isn’t just about vuiet but this is my main issue right now.
Using spacemacs on pop! OS I recently decided to start adding some extended features and working on my config.
Eventually I managed to get lastfm.el and Vuiet working together and it’s awesome!
I think I’ve figured out how to make a script with new keybinds for the Vuiet stuff I need to use, but some features are broken, namely searching songs by lyrics.
I’m not sure how to debug emacs scripts so if anyone has any suggestions, including a better player, I’m open.
Also, I’m shopping around for a completion module, mostly for Python but also C and HTML.

Vuiet is cool, but seems like a lost cause.
I think the only functionality EMMS doesn’t have that Vuiet did, though, is searching by artist for stuff I don’t actually have.
My main problem at this point is how to add an SMB share to EMMS.

I have no idea how this could have happened...
My emacs had the ‘browse-url-browser-function’ variable set to browse-url-default-browser.
This was somehow an undefined function on my system. I switched it to browse-url-firefox, and after setting vuiet up again it works beautifully. You really should try it if you haven’t!!!!
