I'm just starting with Doom and I'm experiencing some problems with it.
1. It demands the .`so` module requires recompilation at the drop of a hat. For some reason trying to run vterm after restarting Emacs requires it to be recompiled. It is as if the module itself is missing or Doom detects that some related source files have changed.
2. The vterm windows don't have modelines or titles around them and that makes it hard to tell them apart when they are split. Is there some way to set these?

Questions like these are better suited for the Doom Emacs discord server.

1. `(setq vterm-always-compile-module t)`

I don't do Discord, Slack etc
What is open about locking information behind proprietary communications systems?
Reddit is perfectly fine and it has the code formatting options a tech forum needs.

The documentation says.
>If not nil, if vterm-module is not found, compile it without asking.
>When **vterm-always-compile-module** is nil, vterm will ask for
confirmation before compiling.
Why would the `vterm-module` not be found. Is there any reason why it should go walkies?

They have a discourse as well

I don't know. What I do know is that I turned that setting on a few months ago, and I have not seen the prompt since. Vterm opens quickly without question.
It could be that the module gets put in a cache or temp directory or something. Might be worth deeper investigation.

Well, aside from the catastrophically stupid decision to have new reddit format code blocks with triple backticks but not add support for that markdown to old, sane reddit.
