Anyone using LilyPond? How do I run LilyPond source blocks in Org-mode?

i get "No org-babel-execute function for LilyPond" when I try to C-c C-c evaluate the source block.

I use it. The major mode maintained with Lilypond is in need of a facelift. I've done so on my private fork, but I don't have enough time to polish it up and contribute it back upstream. For the source blocks you need to have the ob-lilypond feature loaded.

thanks! got it working. Quick question though. Is there a way to set lilypond to not produce a whole page? but instead, only show what I have written? I looked in the manual pages for lilypond and saw the 'print-pages=#f' option setting. (default boolean value was set to #t). But how do i actually apply this while using lilypond via org mode's source blocks? https://imgur.com/a/qMGoE0x

#+begin_src lilypond :file images/blah.png \relative c' { c4 d e f g a b c } #+end_src hmm. for some reason this source block used to produce blah in various formats into the images folder. .count, .tex, .texi, .png, .eps.... and i think there was even this blah.cropped.png file as well. i dont know what i did but the source block no longer produce that file anymore. the CROPPED png is the one that i would like to have displayed as the emacs org source block result instead of the full page blah.png

You can use noweb to write a header and/or footer containing your output settings then add them to each snippet block.
