gmailieer gmi sync didn't work.

When I ran gmi init mail@gmail.com browser opened and it showed all my google accounts. I selected the correct email. It asks for permissions. I pressed allow. It just shows " Something went wrong there. Try again". What should I do. Is there any other way to do this? Please link resources. If I am missing any info let me know please.

Did you try it again? Also, Google doesn't like third-party apps like this so they often change the process and add more hoops. This article is almost 2 years old.

The lieer app is still maintained and that process is still the same.

Update 1: There is option that we have to turn on " allow less secure password" i think. Apparantly it's deprecated and we have to use app passwords instead. And the article gives the instructions for the app passwords.
