why company won't work with yasnippet grouped completion?

eglot is using `capf` so you want something like this `(setq company-backends '((company-capf :with company-dabbrev company-yasnippet)))`

I tried it and completions seem to work in el files not py files or .html for some reason but thank you for the help

Try C-h v company-backend when you are in Python mode. Company-backend can differ mode to mode depending on your configuration and packages you use.
