I switched from Thunderbird to Mu4e a year ago and never regretted it.
To make my use of Mu4e an even better experience, I would love to combine for autocompletion the mail-addresses of org-contacts with the automatically collected mail-adresses of the mu database. I am using helm and tried out John Kitchins solution from [https://kitchingroup.cheme.cmu.edu/blog/2015/03/14/A-helm-mu4e-contact-selector/](https://kitchingroup.cheme.cmu.edu/blog/2015/03/14/A-helm-mu4e-contact-selector/), but if I `(require 'org-contacts)`, the variable `mu4e~contacts-for-completion` is void, and if I do not (require 'org-contacts), I get the error: `Symbonl's function definition is void: org-contacts-db`.
Does anyone of you combine the two sources for e-mail-address completion in mu4e, and how have you solved it?
I was setting hopes in mu4e-contacts ([https://gitlab.com/voidyourwarranty/mu4e-contacts](https://gitlab.com/voidyourwarranty/mu4e-contacts)). Regrettably, when I add the package and restart emacs, I get (error Recursive ‘require’ for feature ‘mu4e’).

I am using mu4e 1.8.9 and the newest version of org-contacts (that is on melpa again, yeah!).
