Why does org-store-link not read denote-directory when called from outside denote-directory?

Hej fellows, I am a recent denote convert and love it. It is an enriching expierience to have the ability to link notes to another (I have not used org-roam or exhausted hyperbole's capabilities). In my current workflow, I have bound `org-store-link` within my denote `straight-use-package` declaration because that's where I define other denote-related key-bindings and `org-store-link` has a `denote:` interface. When using that within a note created by denote itself, it works like a charm: I can just use the denote: type of link, a minibuffer selection is opened that shows the contents of my `denote-directory`. I tried to do the same in my [todos.org](https://todos.org) file: `org-store-link`, denote: to link to a specific note. That did not work. After choosing the denote: type, I would have to manually enter the denote id, without completion and without minibuffer selection. I have no clue why that happens. Do you have an idea or a solution to this? Thanks a bunch, have a good day :)

That is not yet implemented as far as I recall (completion from org-insert-link) you may open an issue on GitHub. Or, even better, try to implement it and suit a patch! org-store-link support was recently improved so you can at least get the link from the note then insert in your file
