How to Pass initializationOptions to LSP | Make it closer to my VSCode Setup

_analysis230_ · 2022-09-21 11:51
So, I'm on Doom emacs and I'm using typescript language server with LSP for my RJSX development. It works fine for the most part but I need to change a few things in the [initializationOptions](https://github.com/typescript-language-server/typescript-language-server#initializationoptions). You can click on the link to see the documentation I am talking about. VSCode (probably) sets some options automatically and I'm trying to get my development environment almost the same as the one I had with VSCode. I just cannot figure out how to pass these configs when the server starts.

If you use `lsp-mode`, see [JavaScript/TypeScript (theia-ide) language server page](https://emacs-lsp.github.io/lsp-mode/page/lsp-typescript/#available-configurations).

Thank you, this is what I was looking for. It can be real hard to locate the right docs when you are just starting out.Now I just have to figure out what format the value should be in. Edit: I know it says plist, but I'm still not familiar with elisp, but I'd figure it out for sure.

Use `M-x customize-option` to edit it, then.
