I used to have this in my function declaration :
:bind
(:prefix "C-j"
:prefix-map avy-map
:prefix-docstring "Counsel"
("j" . avy-goto-char)
("g" . avy-goto-char-in-line)
("w" . avy-goto-word-1)
("e" . my-avy-copy-word)
("L" . my-avy-just-copy-line)
("l" . avy-goto-line))
but as of this morning (emacs 28.1.50 with packages-update) this didn't work anymore and I am not sure how I broke it.
Googling and debugging around I could make it prefix-map work via use-package like this :
(:prefix-map my-avy-map
:prefix "C-j"
:prefix-docstring "Counsel"
("j" . avy-goto-char)
("C-j" . avy-goto-char)
("g" . avy-goto-char-in-line)
("w" . avy-goto-word-1)
("e" . my-avy-copy-word)
("L" . my-avy-just-copy-line)
("l" . avy-goto-line))
:bind-keymap ("C-j" . my-avy-map)
I am just surprised this broke (nothing breaks on emacs usually :D) and I am not sure if it's still the right way
