Context: the [ox-slack repo](https://github.com/titaniumbones/ox-slack) has been abandoned for a while, and there's been no response to pull requests. I've got [a fork that incorporates the multiple good changes made by community members](https://github.com/masukomi/ox-slack), and been running it for a while now.
I _can_ throw that up on melpa as ox-slack2 (or whatever) but it seems more appropriate to try and contact the maintainer of the original and either get them incorporated there or take over its maintenance. So, I'm reaching out to you all to see if any of you know how to reach him and could dm me the info, or point him at this post.
The guy behind it is Matt Price. He teaches / taught at the University of Toronto. I've explored various rabbit holes but none of them seem to lead to anything with an email / working twitter / anything else.
Assuming that doesn't work, I have it in my head that it might be technically possible for me to replace his package on melpa without his permission? If so, it seems like a jerk move, but one that may be appropriate in this case. Any advice around how to proceed if i can't contact him would be appreciated. I'm not sure how situations like this are normally handled.
