Why magit overrides built-in key strokes like C-TAB of tab-bar-mode?

Well, in this specific instance, `tab-bar-mode` has only been available since Emacs 27.1, released in August 2020, whereas Magit (and its bindings) have been around for many years prior to that (e.g. Magit 1.0.0 was released in March 2011).

It also conflicts with the common `M-<digit>` tab select key binds. Magit is a tightly integrated experience with a ton of functionality... This stuff happens

Really? I wasn’t aware when this was added. Because I have started using tabs instead of multiple frames very recently.

Recently there were discussions (in the developer mailing list) around bringing Magit into the core. I don’t know how these things will be resolved.

It seems `C-TAB` in Magit is inherited from Org-mode. But recently Org-mode switched from `C-TAB` to `C-c C-TAB`.

This is a good idea.

Rebind?

Yes but it is yet to see which one wins the C-TAB default binding. BTW, C-S-Tab also works for switching tab in the reverse order. So that is a workaround.
