Hi,
Please give me some advice how I can manage that situation:
I have a win10 and a 34500 lines long xml file. It's an ssis package but it's not important.
I would like to check the modifications and enable / chunk.
Magit dont' working because I need to wait \~5mins to show something but it's too much to calculate the stylish ui ...
The vc dont' know to add git commit / chunk
git -i is ugly
what do you use in this situation ?
What is you trick ?
thanks for advance

I can answer it: ediff with e.
Fast as I expected :)
For somebody who look for a solution for this problem:
if the "toggle-section" is slow then you can press the Ctrl+g a lot.
In this case you can press the "e" on the file.
The ediff buffer contains 3 buffers:
- left: the unchanged / commited state of the file
- right: the modified state of the file
- center: the staged state of the file
You can use the normal keys to reach that:
- "ab": unstage a staged hunk
- "cb": stage a hunk
If you finised the preparation just press the "q" and answer "y" and "y" instead of write the changes to somewhere...
