TIL when working with an Org table that `S-RET` will fill the current cell value with the value above it. <https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacs-orgmode/2010-03/msg00462.html>

If that value is a number, it generates a sequence list. Very handy.

Just discovered 'desktop-environment-mode', really useful, particularly if you are using EXWM and want to get back functional standard keys. [https://github.com/DamienCassou/desktop-environment](https://github.com/DamienCassou/desktop-environment) Thanks Damien !

I use follow-mode (built-in to #emacs) to split reading buffers across modern wide screens to use all the real estate. The mode keeps the panes in sync with eachother. http://images.toryanderson.com/follow-mode.gif

As an exwm user, desktop mode looks looks really handy! But my Planck keyboard doesn't have any of those keys, so binding them to elisp in my config does the trick for me. I especially use screenshots without a printscreen key: (defun tsa/screenshot () (interactive) (start-process-shell-command "flameshot gui" nil "flameshot gui")) (exwm-input-set-key (kbd "s-<escape>") 'tsa/screenshot)

For people like me who use the builtin VC extensively, here's a very simple tweak to ignore the *vc-log* buffer when switching windows: (defun log-edit-skip-window (count &optional all-frames interactive) "Skip log-edit window." (when (and (boundp 'log-edit-files-buf) (string= (buffer-name) log-edit-files-buf)) (other-window 1))) (advice-add 'other-window :after #'log-edit-skip-window)

Quick question, i use Projectile a lot for projects based on git hub repo. Since I have to run git pull from remote very frequently, I have to manually clear projectile project cache every time running git pull. Is there any configuration of projectile to automate this which detect the new files regularly? Or else, set expiration time for cache.

I plan events through orgmode agenda. For simple note-less recurring events I do a <2022-09-12 9:00 Mon +1w> to get it weekly, or daily, etc. For more granularity I use `org-clone-subtree-with-time-shift` (C-c C-x c). I make them for a month or year in advance and just use `COMMENT` on the upcoming section, until I need to open it.
