This sounds like a trap. Nobody invite them in -- it might be a vimpire.

I'm assuming you're referring to discord invites? Xah Emacs has a discord server you can find it on his website, there's also another notable Emacs discord server that you can find on disboard.org

>Emacs is undoubtedly the most powerful programmer's editor in existence. It's a big, feature-laden program with a great deal of flexibility and customizability. … Emacs has an entire programming language inside it that can be used to write arbitrarily powerful editor functions. Eric S. Raymond, The Art of UNIX Programming In my humble opinion, Emacs is not for everyone, it's for the people who like to see how things work, for those who like everything they own to reflect who they are, and of course for those who like to have a customized computer experience. If you love the idea, love how customizable it is, then just make a jump. Don't think about and don't expect a 100% instant transition from your current programs and your current workflow, you will hate it if you do that. Don't think about it and don't expect a 100% instant transition from your current programs and your current workflow, you will hate it if you do that.d using Emacs and so on. And, don't get overwhelmed by other configurations, some configurations at the surface level look like you need a Ph.D. in Emacs to understand it :P, but in reality, it's really easy. Last words "Just Do It".
