Why helm buffers are not being colorized properly in my GUI Emacs (WSL/Ubuntu)

Hi! I'm currently using spacemacs with helm completion + a bunch of custom config on top of it. I have emacs installed in a Mac and I set it up in a Windows PC with WSL, using VcXsrv to open the windows in desktop. One annoyance I couldn't fix is the helm buffers not being colorized properly. I attached 2 images as example below, when running `helm-buffers-list` in the two machines. I checked some helm faces with `describe-face` and in the info buffer the *(sample)* text displays them correctly, but I never played with faces in emacs so I don't know what else I could check. One important thing is that, IF I'm not crazy, sometimes this problem doesn't happen, like 1/10 times. It only started to bother me now that i'm using it constantly to navigate files in a project. Could someone give some tips on how can I debug this issue, what should I look for, where? Windows 10 / Ubuntu 20.04 / emacs 28.1 with native comp. [helm buffer mac \(cropped\)](https://preview.redd.it/0kq8k6f6x2m91.png?width=2243&format=png&auto=webp&s=e73076cddb9ef2cff62300c714555d928386b8e6) [helm buffer WSL](https://preview.redd.it/g1ggf2psw2m91.png?width=1116&format=png&auto=webp&s=ed110167f220bf2c88f67747ab044943179f4bfd)

Maybe a stupid question, but do you use the same theme on both systems?

Ha! Thanks for trying to help, but yeah they are the same. Apparently I'll have to deal with this by myself

What can happen is that your setup is not loaded completely on the other system. Check if you have some os-specific parts that does not get executed on the other one. It is a bit hard to guess like this.
