Not joking, it’s near impossible to go straight to the source code from emacs’s official website and other project of GNU.

On the (mobile) landing page select downloads and on the third paragraph there is a link to the Git server.

Sorry, I don't find that intuitive
Heavy-Onyx · 2022-09-04 15:06
But I think it is far from "nearly impossible".

By near future release of emacs 29.1
Emacs now supports being built with pure GTK.
84 To use this option, make sure the GTK 3 (version 3.22.23 or later) and
85 Cairo development files are installed, and configure Emacs with the
86 option '--with-pgtk'. Unlike the default X and GTK build, the
87 resulting Emacs binary will work on any underlying window system
88 supported by GDK, such as Wayland and Broadway. We do not recommend
89 that you use this configuration, unless you are running a window
90 system that's supported by GDK other than X. Running this
91 configuration on X is known to have problems, such as undesirable
92 frame positioning and various issues with keyboard input of sequences
93 such as 'C-;' and 'C-S-u'.

What would you find intuitive?
Somewhat related:
The buzzword for early iPhone pinch zooming was "intuitive".
There was nothing intuitive about it. They spent a lot of money on advertising the feature.

You should submit a patch to remove the line numbers from that text. Incredibly unintuitive. Nearly impossible to read.
HM0880 · 2022-09-04 17:22
Glad to see someone else who thinks "pinch to zoom" is not intuitive. UI "intuitive" claims seem to revolve around the *familiar*.
