No ...wait....found something under the "customization" section relating to that ...some of the values were turned off .......so turn it back on .....and now it is spitting out the stuff ....
But ...but ...missing a few ...probably need to bounce that damn thing at least once ..which I haven't done so ...
Anyway, please do not waste time on it ...my lack of awareness.... but ..leaving the trail ..if someone like me failed in ...please do this :
step 1:
Call up the customize section by doing M-x customize
Step 2:
Type in the search box on that interface : command-log-buffer
It will show you options related to that ...press enter on putting your cursor on hide text
Step 3:
Check what is turned off /on
There is a Toggle hypertext put your cursor on it and press enter to on/off
In my case, the first two options were turned off(I don't know how, because when I last use it, was working fine and I am sure, I haven't touched that silly thing) .
Heh...not sure ,it is a noise or not ...anyway...

Please resist the urge to immediately fire off a request for help.
You solved your own problem in less than an hour.
What you've written here isn't very useful for anyone in the future because of how vague it is and it's written like an NPC's last diary entry in a post-apocalyptic game.
