I have opened Emacs' Info (`C-h i`) and am trying to open different sections/manuals in two side-by-side windows, e.g. node Elisp Into>Buffers on the left, and Elisp Reference>Buffers on the right; or even simply different parts of the same multi-screen page, as done in any other context.
But I see exactly the same content in both windows, whatever action I take in one of them. I have verified that follow-mode is disabled. So I am forced to switch back and forth between two running Emacs instances and view one manual page at a time.
Is this a quirk of Info-mode, or am I missing something?
I use Emacs 28.1
Thanks for any comment...

Simply clone the node with M-n and change to whatever different node you need.

`C-h i g (info)Create Info buffer`
(and then read the rest of that tutorial to learn lots of other useful things!)

Thanks, that worked!
I realize now this is due to having disabled evil-mode within info-mode. Splitting windows in Evil mode likely causes an `M-n` internally.

You should be able to use clone-indirect-buffer to get two buffers of the same content.

This. (I use it often.)
But it's a good question. I'm pretty sure not enough Emacs users are aware of it.
