Nice! Is there a way to disable cited text altogether? I don't find the need for it, as the emails in any other client (and also in mu4e) is threaded anyways, so one can always read the history.

The point is to quote a specific part of the message and reply to it, not to replicate the entire mail thread. But this is not what a lot of people do so you end up with pointlessly large quote chains.

Ah, the lost art of the quote... I still practice it. Most people like it but I had a couple (in 30 years) that found it "confusing". ;D
