How to make Emacs reload the last used color scheme when restarting the editor?

I'm currently using this: (use-package gruvbox-theme :config (load-theme 'gruvbox-dark-medium t)) The problem is that the theme is loaded using the hardcoded `load-theme` function. I would like to use the `modus-operandi` as my default color scheme because it is part of Emacs. However, if I have a 3rd party color scheme installed and I enable that using `consult-theme` is it possible to make Emacs remember and load that the next time I restart the editor?

to remember something from last run, you need to store it somewhere. So what you need to do is to write the variable's value to a place and a read it.

Right now I'm using modus-vivendi, and I have this in my custom-set-variables in my .emacs file. (custom-set-variables ;;<other options> '(custom-enabled-themes '(modus-vivendi)))

you can use `(desktop-save-mode 1)`
