Poll: Switch back to a visible buffer?

Consider the common scenario of the same file in two panes (`C-x C-f` file, then `C-x 2`). One often references the top pane while actively editing the bottom pane. I have this customization: (global-set-key (kbd "M-s b") 'bury-buffer) so I prefer the default behavior and use this keybinding when I want things like option 2 to happen.

None. I prefer left and right setup instead of top and bottom. Long time ago I found myself getting pain in my neck by looking for extending periods of time at the bottom of the screen when typing. For many years now I have switched to vertical split where I edit in the left window and use right window as the reference. I also scroll buffer up instead of moving cursor down in order to keep text centred in my eyes level, and I press C-l often to center text horizontally on the screen. Maybe I could keep monitor higher or something else, haven't really thought much of it.
