Turn off company-ispell?

I am trying to retain company from constantly popping up suggestions. The worst offender is company-ispell. ​ I have tried running this \`(delete 'company-ispell company-backends)\` but all I get is the following back: \`(company-capf (:separate company-dabbrev company-yasnippet company-ispell))\` and dictionary‍ completion suggestions continue to be omnipresent. ​ What am I missing? I am using Doom emacs by the way if that matters. ​ I also tried \`(setq company-backends (delete 'company-ispell company-backends))\` which gave me: \`company-backends => (:separate company-dabbrev company-yasnippet company-ispell))\` but still I get dictionary completion when typing...

Looks it's either your setup or doomemacs setup. Ask at https://discord.com/invite/qvGgnVx I'm not sure why you need disable `company-ispell` because it's very useful. Anyway, if you want to turn off it, try `(setq company-ispell-available nil)`. ```

It looks like your settings combines several backends for results, including `company-ispell`. You need to remove it from the sublist too, such as in the below.
