I’ve been learning Emacs primarily for Org and Org-roam, and I’m enjoying it all immensely. Today, I customized an Ubersicht widget on my MacBook to open Emacs maximized (a pain in the Mac),and to open with various command line functions (run a “morning” keyboard macro that sets up buffers for my morning routine, open a new journal entry, and open my main agenda view).
Emacs is taking over!

The icon looks really nice!

Would you mind sharing a snippet of how you are setting up a bunch of buffers? I'm thinking about doing this when opening up projects but not sure I know the simplest ways of doing that

That's great! Make sure to use emacsclient to make it extra smooth.

Welcome brother/sister. Now abandon your past life and embrace our lord and savior, Emacs Lisp.

Mostly dust, but OP made a neat little emacs icon too

That's what I got too. Lots of ways to skin this cat :)

Don't forget St. IGNUcius, our saint in the Church of Emacs.
